Airshow Koksijde 2009 (B)
Our last Airshow in 2009 took us outside of Austria to Koksijde, Belgium. The reason for the airshow was the celebration of the 30 years anniversary of the F-16-fleet in Belgium. Our plan was to start on Friday morning but due to heavy thunderstorms we were forced to delay our flight to Saturday 0715. Our six squadron members reached the destination airfield Koksijde at the North Sea coast without complications 1hr 30 mins later.
Our display pilot was able to do his rehearsal right before the airshow which started at 11 o´clock. Because of the beautiful weather on both days the program took place without any delay.
After the official dinner on Sunday evening we were able to drive to the coast of the North Sea.
On Monday we returned back to Austria. Beside some thunderstorms near Linz we landed safely in Hörsching.
